    Over the last decade, Uganda has been able to attract a lot of foreign investment. The amount of Foreign Direct Investment in the country between 2005 and 2007 was $100 million on average. The factors which have contributed to this increasing investment are the implementation of a state policy beneficial for investment, reducing corruption and updating the legal framework.

    The major areas where there has been a lot of foreign investment in Uganda are Fishing, Construction Services Industry, Agriculture, and Manufacturing. All this investment is helping Uganda a lot and is also contributing towards increasing the exports and developing infrastructure inside the country.
