Why Are Gorges Often Formed By Waterfalls?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It has to do with the geology of the place. The ground that used to be where the gorge is was softer than the ground underneath where the waterfall is, so there was uneven erosion, resulting in a) the waterfall and b) the gorge.
