    My 7 Month Cairn Terrier Is Aggressive When Eating Her Food She Eats It So Quickly She Can Be Sick Soon After. Any Ideas How To Slow Her Down?

    This gulping behaviour may stem from the fact that she feels threatened that you or someone else will steal it from her. Maybe she was the runt of the litter and had to fight to get her share, or she may just have a nervous disposition.
    Regardless, you can slow her down by giving her dry food, which dogs need to have a balanced diet and splitting the portion into three, and then giving it to her at intervals. Dairy products could make her throw up later.
    Feed her separately from other dogs or pets.Stroke her a little when she starts eating to calm her, and make feeding a positive thing you do for her.
    Feed her a good brand with lots of water for afterwards.
