    Fibre is split into two catagories, Soluble and Insoluble

    Soluble fibre helps lower cholestrol and slows the absorption of sugar into the  bloodstream.

    Insoluble fibre helps against constipation. It absorbs water and makes the stools softer and therefore easier to pass
