Can You Give At Least 4 Differences Between Optical And Mechanical Mouse?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    The differences are:

    • Mechanical mouse has a trackball while the optical one has sensors instead of track ball

    • Optical mouse is faster then the mechanical mouse.

    • The mechanical mouse has encoder wheels that generate an electrical signal to control cursor movement on the screen but in optical mouse the movement is controlled by light reflected from a mouse pad.

    • As the optical mouse is moved over a surface, it acquires the images of the surface that help it to determine its own position relative to the surface which mechanical mouse can’t do.

    • Mechanical muse can wear out quickly as compared to optical one.
