The adderall contains amphetamine. Both amphetamine and methamphetamine belongs to same group of medicine called central stimulant and sympatimemetic. Although both are used in pharmceutical products to treat certain disease but peoples use it as narcotics. The Adderall can be tested positive for methamphetamine. And this is not false positive.

Adderall should not show up as methamphetamine.  It will however show up as a positive for amphetamine (same group as meth, but adderall is the "legal" or "pharmacy-made" version of the illegal street drug meth. As long as you have a valid Dr. Prescribing the adderall to you then u just show the rx to the lab you are drug testing at & they will factor that into the mix & not show u as positive for amphetamines (meth too.)  If you do not have an rx for adderall, it will likely show in system for 3-5 days & it IS a big deal if you cannot explain the amphetamine in your system.  My buddy just got kicked out of the Army for accidentally taking an adderall when he went to take a stacker energy pill.  Amphetamine's regardless of form, pill or street drug, are usually not easily excused by anyone in charge of the test results... As it can easily turn into a bad addiction u will have for life.  Drink lots of water & good luck.  Hope it turns out ok for you.
