Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Well writing a resignation letter is usually not that difficult. Start of by saying thank you first; avoid the temptation to give a piece of your mind. Try doing the opposite; try to give positive feed back so that the relation ends on a positive note. Also state how this job has positively influenced your career.

Make sure that you give a proper notice; it is plain politeness to give your employer a reasonable amount of time to replace you. Also see that the notice is period not less than two weeks.

Stay as professional as possible make sure that you stay respectful and courteous. Avoid using emotional and controversial language in your letter. Position your resignation in the centre of the letter and end your letter with an additional positive paragraph.
