Usually kittens gain one pound each month until 6 months of age. Your kitten should weigh around 4 pounds. If your kitten is underweight talk to your veterinarian. Intestinal parasites are a common reason kittens fail to gain weight. Also by 4 months of age your kitten should have started and almost completed the kitten series of vaccinations. If you have not vaccinated your cat contact your veterinarian to set up an appointment.
