    A bungalow generally means any kind of house that is a single storey. It roots down to the Hindi word "bangla", which in the Bengali style means a house. Some of the houses may even comprise of a veranda and a garden. Today bungalows can even go up to two storeys along with a huge property to spare. In early days, a bungalow was typically something that was one storey, with high ceilings and verandas for every room.

    Bungalow was basically a higher lifestyle house that originated from rural houses in India. Generally bungalows have a huge property that surrounds a house, in this area there is usually some kind of tress grown to have some kind of privacy from peeping neighbours. A bungalow is also referred to as a cottage with veranda and sufficient roof space.
