Suburban is housing that is on the outskirts of a city. So it is not actually the country but with the appearance of country living within a reasonable distance of the city and it populated, land scares characteristics. It is usually associated with a reasonable separation of housing that the density of the city is known for but not totally isolated as can be found in country or farm living. A Suburban as made by the General Motors Company is a large multi-passenger vehicle that can usually hold over 10 adults with ease.
