How Do I Get My Steel-toed Boots To Fit Comfortably?

I work in an environment that requires steel-toed boots. I have purchased a pair, kept them a half size bigger than I normally wear, and inserted insoles for comfort. Yet the ball of my foot still is sore by the end of the day and the underside of my big toes are peeling.

I don't know how good it is for the leather, but mine- I sprayed the heck out of them with WD 40, then put them on and went to town.....Never a blister since.

Get leather softener...or throw them in the dryer...wear them 24/7 for a week, but leather softener is the best
