I believe the Japanese culture is one of the most if not the most civilized culture in the world. I think that their quick recovery from WW2, was partly due to their culture, and of course, a lot of help from the allies, especially the U.S.A. From what I see about Japan, their home life is stable, their values, deeply ingrained, and they show a lot of sensitivity. It seems like a winning combination to me.
