I had a very traumatized dog once. Something called a "Texas Curly Healer", it was the best Frisbee dog ever, but he had separation anxiety, and would literally eat my furniture and tear up my plants when left alone. We found Him a fine home with a handicapped boy who was bedridden. They seldom ever left home, and took the dog in the van with them to Doctor's apt.'s and such.

We once took a free pupp from the fleamarket.. Gosh we were young.. The puppy was some kinda pit mix.. Hyper as all get out... And OMG it was Sickly.. It had all kinds of worms.. And the very small efficiency apt after 1 day alone looked like something from the TUrner n Hooch movie.. Everything shredded.. It ate a couch.. And omg.. The MESS ..from worm meds.. OMG.. What a nightmare.. And this dog would Never settle down. Ended up giving it to a guy that lived out in the woods with lots of land.

The worst pet I owned was probably my wolf hybrid. She was very destructive, even at a young age. She ate half my stuff, tore up the walls, the floor. She ate my mother's oak furniture. And she dug several economy size holes in the back yard.
She has calmed down after about eight years, but every now and then she attempts to gnaw on my carpet.

Kept a pet Tarantula. My intent was to work on my arachnaphobia by keeping a big hairy spider around. Then one day we came home, did not realize he was not in the aquarium, until I was in the fridge, closed the door, and he was hanging on the door right about eye level, right in front of my face. I about wigged. That was the end of that pet. But it did accomplish my goal somewhat.. Spiders do not quite freak me out as much as they used to.

I adopted a lab mix from the shelter that we named Tinker. She had been abused and was very withdrawn and anxious. After much time and love she came around. We had to hand feed her for the longest time. All her hair fell out and then it came back in and she was just beautiful. She didn't know how to play or do anything but just lie there next to you. She just wanted you to love her. Then after we had her about 9 months and she had finally accepted that we were her family, she got cancer. We spent over $3500 trying to save that dog. My daughter was just devasted. Tinker lasted about 4 more months and we finally had to have her put down.
She was the best and the worst pet ever. I don't think I will ever get another dog. I cannot go through that again. It was almost 10 years ago and her face still haunts me.

I have had a lot of pets, all different kinds. But the absolute worse one was the conure. That thing was up at 4:30 making the loudest strangest noises!!! I paid 80 for it and the cage, after 2 weeks I gave it away.

The worst pet I have ever had well it really wasn't mine it was my younger brothers but I lived with it so yeah! He begged my Dad for a mini Chiuahuah (sorry bout spelling) well my Dad broke down and bought him one and then all HECK broke loose! He whizzed all over the furniture and he thought that all of our legs where trees because he would even use the bathroom on us!! He humped everything he could reach!!! He chewed everything up! He pooped once in my bedroom and I am not lying their was a crayon, a half of a dollar bill and parts of my dads Bible cover in his poop!! Needless to say once he went so far as to chew on my Dads Bible he was out the door!!!!
