    Can A Purebred Dog Have Purebred Puppies Aftering Having Mixed Puppies?

    I was told they could not have pure puppies if bread with a pure male. Shes a Siberian husky about 2 years old

    Of course she can!   As long as the male and female are pure bred.. And he's the only one she mates with during that particular season, then the puppies will be pure.  There is no genetic material leftover from previous pairings, during previous seasons.  It's as if you have a child with your husband.. Then are divorced or widowed... And remarry (or not) and have another child with your new man.  There's none of your previous husband in the child genetically... It's the exact same thing with your dog.

      From what i hear, it takes around 6 breeding's with a pure breed to get all the mixed out of them. That's just what I hear:
