Sometimes it does happen but the toy dog cannot carry the puppies. She would need to get the puppies aborted or she would more than likely die giving birth.

Yes a large dog can get a toy dog pregnant & vice versa. Its dangerous for a toy dog to be pregnant to a larger dog as this can result in puppies that are too big to be delivered naturally & can get stuck which then means a caesarean section for the mother
