Adam Brody is an American actor who is most famous for playing the character of Seth Cohen in Fox teen drama 'The O.C'.
Adam Jared Brody was born on the 15th of December 1979 in San Diego, California. His family are of Jewish descent.
He decided to pursue his dream of becoming an actor in 1999 and moved to Hollywood, where he signed with an agent.
His first role was in a TV film entitled 'Growing Up Brady' where he starred as the character of Barry Williams.
In 2003 he landed the role of Seth Cohen in 'The O.C' which has promoted his career to an international level. Brody has now starred opposite Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in 'Mr and Mrs Smith' and alongside Meg Ryan in 'In the Land of Women' which will be released in 2007.
Adam Brody lives in Los Angeles with his girlfriend and co-star of 'The O.C', Rachel Bilson. However it has recently been rumoured that the couple have parted.
