Who Is Adam Pearson?

Adam Pearson is the current chairman of Hull City Football Club and manager of the Kingston Communications Stadium. He is said to have saved Hull City from possible extinction as a football league club after rescuing The Tigers from a period of administration. After taking over in 2001, Hull City achieved two successive promotions, and because of this success, fans of the club hold Pearson in high regard.

Pearson was a former commercial director at Leeds United FC which, at the time, was one of the most ambitious, big spending clubs. In Hull City's first season in the Championship under the management of Peter Taylor, they famously beat their Leeds United rivals 2-0 at the KC Stadium. Pearson had a brief spat with Peter Taylor in the summer of 2006 over Taylor's consideration of a new job at a London club. When a position came free at Crystal Palace a few weeks later, Taylor took it and left the KC Stadium.
