What Are Some Dos And Don'ts On Credits?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Some dos and donts on credit cards are

    DO:

Use one for emergencies and for moments when you need access to funds that you don't have at that time.

Set up a standing order or a direct debit so that at least the minimum (usually five percent) is paid off each month.

Ensure that you are getting the very best deal, with a decent rate of APR,  credit cards earn their money from interest and some are as high as mid thirty percent per year!

    DONT:

Get one if you can't afford to make the repayments, this will badly affect your credit history and will make it more difficult to get a mortgage or other large or important type of borrowing product.

    Ignore your credit card bills

Use credit to pay for credit, although it used to be illegal, it's now an in vogue way of paying off credit.
