Diaz basically is a well known city located in the Jackson County, Arkansas, based in United States. According to the census conducted in the year 2000 the total population of this region is said to be 1,284.

The census report of the year 2000, also stated that the total area of this region was said to be 15.4 square kilometres, out of which 15.3 square kilometres was land and 0.1 square kilometres was water. The population density of this region was said to around 83.7 per square kilometre.

The ethnic break-up of this region was 69.63% being white, 28.35% being black or African American, 0.47% being Native Americans, 0.55% being from other races and 1.01% were from two or more races. Out of the total population 1.17% was from Hispanic or Latino origin.
