What Are The Three Aspects Of Social Responsibility?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In the glitz and glamour of the corporate world where profitability is a paramount objectives for organizations all over the world, social responsibility is something that tends to get eclipsed in the mayhem of earning profits and relishing emoluments.

Nevertheless the legal arena still encumbers any such practices that pose a menace to the realm of social responsibility and that is why organizations are pretty chary and careful in executing their strategies, making sure that they don't cross the line of social boundaries.

There are three aspects of social responsibility namely self-discipline, eminent self-regulation and co-opted self regulation.  Self-discipline talks about the organization taking a personal stand on sustaining social discipline and preserving social norms, without the trepidation of any legal restrictions.  As for utter self-regulation, it talks about the industry in a more general regard rather than the organizations to take an active part in fulfilling social responsibility.  The third aspect goes a step further that involves the industry involving non-industry members in the prospect of fulfilling social responsibility.
