I think that her fear is rational that she will be getting pregnant. It is her problem of being pregnant, that her fear is right; because you would not get pregnant for sure.
If you are going to have sex and not expecting to make her pregnant, then USE A CONDOM!
I appriciate that she is shy, and you should love her for that.
When you are using the word "girlfriend" I guess that you two are not married. If you make her pregnant before marrying her I call you almost like a criminal. It's ok to have a fun, but you don't have a right to have sex without marrying her.

You can tell her to watch some sexual movies and see how good it can be or just tell her we can and when the time is right when you about to came just do it somewhere else instead of in her and tell her that that's the only place to get pregnant.

You can tell her that a condom never breaks and that if she just try sex once, she'll like it a lot. Try telling her that there are hundreds of girls who had used condom but had never got pregnant and why does she had to be shy about it when some younger girls than her do it and enjoys it.
