    The culture of Madagascar is quite diverse and almost equal division of its population between the Asians and the Africans is a significant indication of the diversity.

    The traditional houses in Madagascar have only one room in it and the front part of the house is always facing east as a mark of respect to their ancestors. When a member of the family as died the family organizes a party in which they feast and dance. They also sacrifice a cow and they dance until morning surrounding the graveyard.     

    The people are very scared of the curses of the ancestors and they have ritual to change the clothes of the corpse each year by removing the dead bodies from their graves.

    A magician is always an indispensable part of every village to predict the future and the magician always plays a central role in all the ceremonies.
