What Is Lutheran?

    Lutheran is a doctrine advocated by Martin Luther King. It is related to his teachings. It is a branch of the Protestant church. Thus it is a movement within Christianity. It began in the 16th century. These doctrines by Luther actually launched the Protestant Reformation. The writings and preaching's of Lutheran church is found in the Book of Concord. More than seventy million Christians are members of Lutheran churches and they are spread across the world. Martin Luther King, the person who introduced these doctrines was a German by origin. He was a monk, priest and a theologian who wished to change the practices of the Catholic Church.

    Lutheranism is based on the bible. And believe that lord is the highest authority on all matters of faith. They firmly that god made the world, including humanity, perfect, holy, and sinless but Adam and Eve disobeyed him by placing more trust on their strength and knowledge. Two sacraments: Holy Baptism and the Sacrament of the Altar, the Lord's Supper is spoken about in the Lutheran doctrine.
