How Do You Use A Wallpaper Border?

A wallpaper border typically sits on the top of the walls. There are a lot of things you can do while accentuating your wallpaper border. Use the wallpaper border to frame the door and window moldings. Trim each end of the border diagonally so that it meets the other end at a perfect angle.

You can install the wallpaper border on the ceiling, a few inches from the wall, around the room. Cut the corners diagonally. Hang the wallpaper border 7-9 inches underneath the ceiling around the room. Start painting on top of the border; the ceiling and the walls should be of one colour, while the part below the border should be of a contrasting colour.
