Are You Aware Of The Passing Of George Carlin, Comedian Extraordinaire?

I did see that news this morning.  I was saddened by this, I
remember enjoying some of his records.  I had just heard last week
that he is getting the Mark Twain award for humor.  I also liked
him in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.  RIP Mr. Carlin.

Yes this is a sad day for all his fans.I even remember him playing the train conductor on Thomas the train.And many others he will be sadly missed.

No, hadn't heard, one of my favorite comedians. "Your hippy, dippy weather man, here with your hippy, dippy weather, man." My fav quote of his from Laugh In. He had a ditty almost forty years ago concerning animal hairs and rodent droppings in food and according to him if the maker wasn't up to the allowed level they were allowed, by law, to add the aforementioned items until the level was reached. The image the man left in my mind haunts me to this day.

I heard it today also. I used to listen to him too. What a shame to lose him.

Yes.  I read about it this morning on CNN online.  I was saddened by it as I kind of grew up listening to his stuff.  I had heard that he'd had heart issues for some years but was still shocked and saddened to hear of his death. He'll be missed.
