The Ordinand in training at Lancaster Priory in 1999 was Steven Evans.
Steven Evans was an Ordinand on the Carlisle and Blackburn Dioceses Training Institute Course, on placement at Lancaster Priory for twelve months. As part of his training he was helping the Priory team until Easter 1999 in order to appreciate a contrast to his home Parish, which is Holy Trinity, Morecambe. He plans to serve his ordained ministry as a Non-Stipendiary Minister, which means that he will continue in his secular work in a family marquee business, whilst being attached to a Parish.
Steven is married to Debbie and has two children, Katie (11), and James (8). They live in the nearby village of Hest Bank.
