Who Is Nikki Sanderson?

Nikki Sanderson is a British actress most famously known for her role as Candice Stowe in ITV's soap Coronation Street. She was born on 28 March 1984 in Blackpool, Lancashire and her first significant TV appearance was on the kid's drama Children's Ward. She joined Coronation Street in 1999 and left in Autumn 2005. Both during and after her time on the Street, the attractive actress has also done some glamour modelling, featuring on the cover of men's magazine FHM and making appearances in the red top tabloids. Sanderson has an excellent singing voice. She came fifth in The X Factor: Battle of the Stars and won an episode of Celebrity Stars in their Eyes impersonating LeeAnn Rimes. Sanderson has in the past presented CD:UK on ITV.

But it is her role as Candice on Coronation Street which launched her fame. Playing a goby school teenager and later a trainee hair stylist, she was the best friend of Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien). She went out with Warren Baldwin until his departure from the street in Summer 2005 and left shortly afterwards. Sanderson and Danny Young (who played Warren Baldwin) have dated but their relationship status is somewhat unknown. She is currently part of the cast of the ITV series Strictly Confidential.
