    Coronary thrombosis is the clinical term that is used to mean a heart attack. There are many causes that lead to the occurrence of a heart attack. Normally the heart attack takes place when the arteries that are carrying fresh blood with oxygen to the heart is blocked. There are a number of hindrances that could result in such a happening, which are inclusive of sudden contraction of the artery, a blood clot and in some situations a high level of cholesterol in the body. For the heart to function in a proper manner, the required amount of blood for achieving that was hampered in all of the above-mentioned cases, resulting in a heart attack.

    On a general basis, the probability of having a heart attack is directly proportional to age. As a matter of fact, heart attacks are often not fatal at all. Medical science has advanced enough for people to benefit from it and lead completely healthy and normal lives even after suffering from a heart attack.
