What Kind Of Turtle Do I Have?

It has a yellow belly with 11 lack spots. There are 2 groups of 4 black spots and then one group of 3! It has a white tip on its nose! It tries to climb up the side of its tank! What is it trying to do? And he dont like to be on his rock! He stays in the water all the time! But i have a really small tank and it has no room to swim! Why does it stay in the water all the time? And he dont eat a lot! Ive only had him a day?any advice?

You need to get a book or advice on turtles a vet would be able to tell you and give living conditions advice you need only pay for one appointment to get this advice then at least you are aware what to do to care for your pet good luck

While I can't tell you what kind he is, I can tell you that you definitely need a larger tank for him. Not all turtles like to be out of the water, and do indeed spend most of their time in it. He tries to climb out of the tank to get out, he's in a new place, and is a bit stressed out about it. He'll come around to eating better, but that will take time. If he doesn't start eating, then you need to take him to the vet, and at the same time, you should get a book from the library, or Barnes & Noble or something like that.
