I just found out I had a brother born after me, he was given up for adoption,,My mother is passed, so I can't get any info other than that he was born alive,,on April 10th 1950,in gaston North Carolina,,father unknown,, mother Edith VirginiaGaultney,,,

You will have to contact the dept of health in the area of North Carolina where he was born and use what information you have the mothers name or you can contact the court in that area, using what information you have.....good luck

I also just found out my father wasn't my father ,,I was searching on ancestry,, on my mothers family, and saw my birth record It stated on the hosp that my father was a Loyd M Mathews,,,This was never told either,,My father,and 2 other siblings are now also passed away,,and myone aunt in NC is not in her right frame of mind anymore ,Will Try tocontact thNC hall of records,,but with this new privacy issue I doubt any thing will become of it? Thank you
