That is a good question. If you don't find the answer here, you may want to ask a dietitian. Or call your doctors office and ask a nurse, she should be able to tell you. I am a medical assistant and I don't know the answer to this question. I would say it depends on your height and weight and diet. If you call a local gym they some times have people there too that may know who can maybe tell you or even give you your first visit or consultation for free. I am sorry I am not much help. I believe it to be 70 grams for women daily and 90 grams for men ,calories is 2000 for women and 2500 for men so to lose weight i suppose 1800 is a good amount to stick to you would lose 5 to 6 pounds a month on average the slower the better chance of keeping the weight off too good luck

I was told two thousand calories a day so take the fat from that
