Where Did James Cramer Work After Graduating From Law School?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

When he graduated from Harvard Law School in the year 1984, James Cramer accepted a position in the sales and trading department at Goldman Sachs. The official name of Goldman Sachs is The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., and it is one of the largest global investment banks in the world.

In the year 1987, Cramer founded his own hedge fund. The name of Cramer's hedge fund (at the time of its registration) was Cramer and Co. The company later became Cramer, Berkowitz and Co. They worked out of the offices of Steinhardt, Fine, Berkowitz and Co., the hedge fund in which Michael Steinhardt (considered to be the pioneer of hedge funds) is a managing partner.

Cramer retired from Cramer, Berkowitz and Co, in the year 2001. His former partner, Jeff Berkowitz, now runs the firm.
