I Asked About Apple Cider Vinegar And The Effects On Weight Lost Etc. How Is It Used And How Often?

This is one of those old 'folk remedies'...and does have some basis in truth..however, instant weight loss it is not!!!

The idea is to sip, at each meal, 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a full 8oz. Glass of water, with your meal......something about the acidity helps you to lose weight...........My mom always used to 'sop up' the salad dressing from the time she was a young girl; her sister never liked vinegar and oil dressings, and was on one diet after another for many years....for years my mom had no problems with her weight, which she said was due to the 'acidic' dressing-eating.......so who knows?  I tried it but could not get used to the taste!!! Plus it's bad for your tooth enamel........so if you do it, make sure you rinse your mouth out really well after drinking it!!!! Years ago there was a paperback callled something like' The Vermont Doctor's Home Remedies" so you may want to google it to see if it's still in print...he claims that we need acidic things to help our health.......

Hello,  my husband eats at least twice as much as I do and he stays pretty slim. Me!! That is another storey but my husband mixes vinegar and honey and takes a little swig every so often, so maybe there is something to the acidity.  Good Luck

I use it, to start out as little as 1 teaspoon in 8oz of water 3x daily, but as much as 2 tablespoons in 8oz of water 3x daily can be used. I sweeten mine with honey and it really doesn't taste that bad.
