What Exactly Is Skin Zinc?

Skin zinc usually comes in the form of a spray or a lotion and it generally contains zinc Pyritheone. Skin zinc has been used in shampoos in order to treat dandruff and it is thought to have good anti-fungal properties in it. These days skin zinc is mainly used to treat skin problems such as dermatitis and eczema and psoriasis to name a few. As well as that, its anti-fungal properties allow it to be used to treat conditions such as athlete's foot.
Generally skin zinc does not work for everyone, though even if it doesn't work for you it is unlikely to cause you any harm. Different things work for different people so whilst it is worth trying, you should not expect miracles. Doctors do support the product, though there is some speculation as to whether it actually does anything to help with Eczema due to the fact that the condition is often stress related.
