I want to know if the kitten is going to get sick or die from chewing on tulip leaves. He was chewing on one, then about an hour and a half later, he was chewing on a second leaf. Both were taken from him, and he's been fine for hours afterwards. According to some websites, it upsets the stomach. Do we need to worry since he's been symptom free for 4 to 5 hours?

Well there have not been many major cases that cats that chew leaves get sick or die. It is just a habit and I suggest you should get your cat something that it can chew on or play with. Furthermore there are always risks involved and one cannot always be sure about the effects that the leaves have on the cat. So it would be better if you try to stop and abstain the cat from chewing leaves.
