    Fiji is comprises of 322 islands. The two most significant islands are Vanua Levu and Viti Levu. These island are mountanious and hold peaks which are approximately 4,250ft. Viti Levu is the biggest island in the republic of Fiji. It covers a vasta rea of 10,388 sq km. In Oceania, its the fifth largest island. Vanua Levu is also known as the Sandalwood Island. In Fiji, it is the second largest island. It covers an area of 5,587.1 km² and holds a populance of around 130,000.

    The third and fourth largest islands in Fiji are Taveuni and Kadavu. The other islands are, the Lomaiviti Group, Yasawa Group and the Mamanuca Group are famous tourist destinations. Some of the main towns in tehse islands are Labasa , Savusavu, Nadi and Lautoka.
