    These crops help keep the soil fertile.the second crop grows better,corn,wheat and cotton grows better after a crop of beans,peas and peanuts have been grown in the soil a year prior.

      Crop rotation is used to keep the soil fertile b/c using the same crop depletes the ground very quickly
