    I make a slit along the side to open a pocket. I make a sage stuffing with herbs onions and little crushed seasoned croutons. Apple pieces can be added to the stuffing or served cooked and arranged across the top when you are entertaining. The chops should marinate at least two hours before you prepare them. The marinade i use is a little apple juice. This is baked on 350 until no pink juice runs from the chop.

      Put them on low and cook them for a long time to insure the inside is done and not just the outside crispy
