What Can I Make As A Special Breakfast?

Breakfast it the most important meal of the day and when someone makes breakfast for you (especially as a treat) it really kick starts your day!

One thing I loved to make which my partner always enjoyed was smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Simple, tasty and nutritious!

- Buy some nice smoked salmon. Scottish organic salmon is just beautiful. Before you start your eggs, take out the salmon and lay a few slices down on the bottom of each plate.

- Heat a pan at a low heat over the stove. Melt a small knob of butter.

- Allow 2 eggs each and crack into a bowl. Whisk the eggs  for a few mins (with a fork is fine) and season with salt and pepper.

- To the bowl add either a splash of milk or cream - depending on how rich you want to make it.

- Put the mixture into a hot pan and stir it until it takes on a stiff consistency.

- Once you are happy that it is cooked through spoon it out of the pan and onto the salmon.

- Top with a sprinkle of cayenne pepper and/or a few slices of Edam cheese.

Serve with some juice, tea and a big smile! A perfect protein filled meal to start your day!

Pancakes. Pancakes make a really delicious breakfast. Serve them with maple syrup or lemon juice.

My favourite breakfast is toast and peanut butter.Put the toast on the grill, and when you turn it over, spread some peanut butter on the upward side.The peanut butter melts on the bread and is absolutely delicious.

Breakfast, my favourite meal!  How about a Swiss cheese omelet, a piece of French toast with a little powdered sugar on top (use home made bread and make it thick!), some strawberries or honeydew, coffee and a rose on the side! Served on your fine china of course!
