I hope for a second answer to come in, but I say most definitely you can take a early preg test at any time. If you are preg- you may not have another period for quite some time.E P T can be purchased at any grocery store.

You can most certainly do a test asap. It would be a great idea to waiting limits your options. Make sure you get a more advanced test they can detect pregnancy at early stages (first sign, or clear blue are a few good ones) the full proof way it to go to a doctor and get a test you can go to a clinic or walk-in clinic which can be confidential. So yes go right away you can still be pregnant if your period was light.

As you've had your period it is unlikely that you're pregnant, but there's no harm in confirming it with a test. You don't need to wait if you think your last period wasn't 'real'.

I mite check with a doctor. Cuz although u can start your period for a little if you are pregnant it should only be like a light spotting and then should die off.
