Is There Anything Else We Can Use To Get The Swelling Down And That Won't Hurt Him?
My daughter found a kitten about 6 weeks old. His butt had pooh stuck to it. I cleaned him up and we took him to the vet. The vet said he was constipated. He put him on hair ball med. He is going to the bathroom but his butt is still swelled. The vet said to put cool sugar water on it but it's been a week and it's still no better.

It sounds like your kitten has a rectal prolapse. If it is not improving this kitten needs to be rechecked by your veterinarian. This may be something that time and the supportive care you are doing will be enough. If not this prolapse may need to be sutured into place temporarily for a permanent correction.
Feeding your kitten canned food may help with this problem too. Also checking daily to make sure feces are not caking to the anus. If this is a continued problem you will need to clean the perianal area until the kitten learns to groom himself.
