Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The Tiger , a member of the cat family, is endangered and was native to much of the low lying eastern countries of Asia including India.  The Tiger is often associated with good fortune, or good luck. potency or power, and those of  royal blood, (although this is shared with the leopard which is often also associated with royalty). In fact in Africa royalty or chiefs are the only ones who can wear the skin.

The Tiger  is approached with fear and respect. In the east and in particular with the  The Chinese people,  who have it as a zodiac sign, view the tiger, instead of  lion, as the king of beasts.

The Bengal tiger is the most famed, and has at times been accused of being a man eater, who developed a taste for man.

They are generally solitary beasts who roam over a territory to find their diet, which can be rather varied, including birds, mammals and even fish. they are good swimmers.
