What Is The Surface Area Of A Cylinder With A Radius Of 4 In And Length Of 24 In?

I tried and tried but could not figure it out.

    The formula for the surface area of a cylinder is
    2 π r2 + 2 π r h
    In the above case r=4 and Height = 24 and π or pie = 22/7 or 3.14, Then the calculations will be as follows:

    2(3.14) (4)2 + 2(3.14)(4)(24)
    100.48+602.88
    703.36 is the required answer
