It is a motor in fact variable speed electric motor that can often works as a fan to regulate the air in the vehicle. The temperature inside the vehicle can be set to a normal condition by extracting the air from out side. It provides not only a single function but it has diverse kind of properties.
The main purpose this type of motor i.e. blower motor is to shift air from outside the vehicle and this is completed by letting the air move through the following components in a sequence.
1. Cabin air filter
2. Heater core
3. Evaporator
4. Air control doors
The flow of air can be controlled by the air control doors; in fact the direction of air flow is specified by the control doors. The resulting direction of air makes the inner side of the vehicle cool or warm according to the requirements or according to the instructions given by the blower. It is also used to demist or defrost the windshield. Regarding maintenance the blower should be checked properly on regular basis; if it no air flow is observed even when the blower is switched on then it is possible that there is circuit problem in that. Some problems occur because of the bad fuse or wrong connection. If there is any problem then the technician must be asked.
