I have a Officejet J4500 series....you pull down the panel in the front...it's to the right of the printer...if you can't see the cartridges look to your far right....you will have to pull them to the right...after that they just pop out...color goes on the left & b/w goes on the right....they just snap in..close and you should be ready to go.....
