What Is Enhanced Host Controller And How Can I Do Two Webcams To Work With It?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Enhanced Host Controller is found under Device Manager in Vista/XP. It is another name for USB 2.0. Most webcams support Plug n Play so u simply plug in the first webcam into a free USB port and wait for the installation to be over BEFORE pluging in the other webcam (if they are from different companies). If they are the same model, then you just have to install the first webcam and for the second webcam, the drivers are already present. In some cases, the drivers will have to be installed first before plugging in the webcam. If this is the case, it will be mentioned on the box. Usually the drivers provided will be older as the new ones are available on the web so it is better to first check the company website for updates before installing the drivers.
in this case, you will have to choose between the webcam which one to use as only one can be used at a time.
