In Golf What Is An Eagle?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

An eagle is when someone shoots a score of two under par. For instance if it was a par 4 then that player would have got a 2. This is a very good score that professionals would be happy to get. When someone gets an eagle it is usually a very rare occasion and any golfer that gets one should be very pleased. An eagle is a great score that will do a lot of good to your final score at the end of the round.

An eagle is when you shoot 2 under par so on a par three you need to make it in one stroke on a par 4 two strokes and on a par five 3 strokes.
