Before carrying out laser surgery, the doctor will carry out a test that tells whether your eyesight will revert or not after the surgery. If the test shows that it will, then its your own choice to go ahead but in most of the people it does not revert and it will last forever. There are very few cases that the eye sight reverts.

Rubbish , i had Lasik eye treatment carried out five years ago and now im back to wearing glasses with the same prescription i had before i had the treatment. I went back to discuss this with the surgeon and he stated that 5 years ago they thought it would last forever but now it has been proven that this is not the case !! I dont think you will ever get a written guarantee for this treatment to last forever!!
