    Password is a word or number used to permit selected individuals access to a system. There are some rules for passwords which should be follow for better security.
    Make the password as long as you can : A four or five character password  can be cracked by a computer program is less than a minute. A ten character password, in contrast, has about 3,700 trillion character permutations and could take a computer decades to crack.

    Choose a sequence of character for the password: for instance3. mix in numbers and special characters with words from other languages or unusual names. The password should be one that you can remember yet one that doesn't confirm to a pattern can readily figure out.
    Keep a written copy of password in a place where no one but you can find it. Many people place on post-it-notes that are affixed to their monitors or taped to their desks- a practice that almost as bad as having no password at all.

    Change the password as frequently as you can, sniffer programs that criminals frequently use can read passwords being entered into unsecured systems.
