    Do You Know Official Name For Liquid Measurement For Tank?

    My colleges want to know if there is a specific name in determining the total amount of water in a rectangular tank. We know the formula (length x width x depth divided by 231. Is there a name for this?

    The unit of measuring liquid is Gallon and One Gallon is equal to four quarts,while one quart is equal to two pints and one pint is equal to four gills.To measure liquid in Tank ,we use Gallon as unit.
